Study in the UK from India
To study in the UK you need an unconditional offer and a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor, proof of funds and English, and a Student visa. Many master's degrees last one year. Graduates can apply for the Graduate route to stay and work for a set period after their course.

Which English test is accepted?
Universities set their own English requirements and may accept IELTS, PTE, TOEFL or their own tests. For some courses the visa requires a Secure English Language Test.
What does it cost?
Tuition depends on the university. GOV.UK sets the living-cost amount you must show (higher for London), the visa fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
Intakes and processing
Main intake is September, with January and some May starts. You can apply for the visa up to six months before your course starts.

- Apply online, pay the fee and health surcharge, give biometrics.
- Collect your visa and plan travel.
