Study in Australia from India
To study in Australia you need a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from a registered provider, Overseas Student Health Cover, and a Student visa (subclass 500). Since March 2024 you must also meet the Genuine Student requirement. Graduates of eligible courses can apply for the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485).

Tuition varies by provider and course. Home Affairs sets the minimum living-cost funds and the visa application charge. OSHC must cover your whole stay.

Main intakes are February and July, with some November starts. Home Affairs publishes processing times.

- Accept the offer, pay the deposit and buy OSHC.
- Receive your CoE.
- Apply for the Student visa in ImmiAccount and answer the Genuine Student questions.
- Complete biometrics and health checks if asked.
